Harvey Recovery

About the Program

As of January 2021, the Texas General Land Office (GLO) has assisted over 6,000 Texas families recover from Hurricane Harvey through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for Disaster Recovery program. Specifically, the GLO has rebuilt 2,500+ homes with keys in the hands of homeowners.

The Texas General Land Office (GLO) is accepting applications for the state administered Homeowners Assistance Program (HAP). This program is currently open to homeowners in Harris County who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.
