Special Olympics

This program is offered to participants with intellectual impairments, ages 8 to adult. Participants compete in:

  • Basketball
  • Bocce
  • Bowling
  • Softball
  • Track & Field
  • Volleyball

Cooperative Program

This program is a co-op program with the La Porte Independent School District (LPISD). Participants from ages 8 to graduation are under LPISD and adults are under the Special Populations Organized Recreation Therapy (SPORT) program.

Schedule

  • Days: Tuesday and Thursday
  • Time: 3 - 5 pm

  • Area 22 Basketball Tournament - The Gulf Coast Area 22 Basketball Tournament team/athlete entries deadline is on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022. The Gulf Coast Area Basketball Competition will be held on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 at Alvin ISD Schools.
