 Oscar Boultinghouse M.D., FACEP Dr. Oscar Boultinghouse became the 3rd Medical Director in the history of the City of La Porte Emergency Medical Service in August 1997. Dr. Oscar Boultinghouse has been extremely instrumental in developing a set of advanced and cutting edge Standing Orders for the paramedical staff here at LPEMS. Such advanced procedures include RSI, Retrograde intubations, CPAP, Sternal IO's and many more. Dr. Oscar Boultinghouse is very involved with the on-going training of all LPEMS staff and is very well respected in the EMS community. Dr. Oscar Boultinghouse is also a University of Texas Medical Branch assistant professor of the Department of Preventive and Community Medicine, and clinical assistant professor, UTMB/NASA Aerospace Medicine Residency Program. He also serves as director of telemedicine for Digital Medical Services, a division of UTMB Correctional Managed Care. He has 20 years of experience as an emergency medicine specialist, is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and served as medical director for the UTMB Life Flight Program. |
