The 2012 Christmas on Main Street Festival will be on Thursday, December 6, 2012. The festival will be held on Main Street between Highway 146 and Broadway, and at the Five Points Town Plaza.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Date: Thursday, December 6, 2012
Time: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Location: Main Street in La Porte
Admission: FREE

The parade will begin at 5 p.m. It will go from 5th Street to Broadway.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at Five Points Plaza. All children will be able to get a FREE photo with Santa, generously sponsored by Heartsongs Photography. Photos will need to be picked up at Parks & Recreation Department in the days following the festival.

Clutch the Rockets Bear will be on Main Street from 5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.

The sledding hill will be open for business beginning at 5 p.m.

Restrooms will be located on the south side of 2nd street and at Five Points Plaza.

The Mayor and Santa and Clutch the Rockets Bear will be lighting the Christmas tree at 7:30 p.m. at Five Points Plaza.


VENDOR INFORMATION

Vendor Application

We will be accepting vendor applications starting October 29, 2012 until 5 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2012. 

Main Street will be blocked off beginning at 2 p.m. so vendors will need to enter from the South side of Main Street—we suggest entering South 5th Street from West A Street.  

Note that you will need to park your car away from Main Street after the festival begins. All vendors must be completely set up no later than 4:30 p.m.  

We will be limiting the type of products to be sold to 2 vendors.  Do not hesitate to sign up!
