It has come to our attention that an unknown person identifying himself as a City employee may be contacting Recreation & Fitness Center members by phone, requesting credit card information to renew memberships.
Please be advised that this activity is NOT AUTHORIZED by the City of La Porte and the caller is not a City employee. The City does not take credit cards for payment at the Fitness Center and does not make calls to members by telephone for membership renewal purposes. Should you be contacted by this person, please report it to the La Porte Police Department at 281-471-3811 or police@laportetx.gov
