Free WiFi Now Available at Recreation and Community Centers
In response to many requests from recreation patrons, the City Council provided funding in this year's budget to install WiFi at all community centers. This new, FREE service will be live and operational starting February 13, 2013. Users will see COLP-Guest appear in their list of available WiFi networks on their laptops or other mobile devices, such as smart phones and tablets.
Users at the Recreation and Fitness Center may simply click on this network to connect. Users at the Community Centers will need to obtain a pass code from the attendant.
"Access to a wireless network is something that many of our patrons have requested. Whether patrons stream music while exercising, access the Internet for educational purposes, or update a Facebook status from their phone, this WiFi will be a fantastic new amenity to the City's recreation and community centers," said Stephen Barr, Director of Parks and Recreation.
