Keep in mind inspections scheduled before 8AM on a normal business day will be done between 9AM – 12PM and inspections scheduled before 1PM on a normal business day will be done between 2PM – 5PM that same day.

- Property Tax Payment Center
The City collects taxes for the Cities of La Porte, Morgan's Point and Shoreacres, and for the La Porte Independent School District. Tax bills for all of these entities are mailed during the month of October. Taxes are due on or before January 31st. Unpaid taxes become delinquent on February 1st. On July 1st, all unpaid current year taxes are turned over for collection and are subject to an additional collection fee.
Payments made through this Payment Center are time and date stamped and are considered timely paid when you receive your confirmation email. Payment may not actually be posted to your account for two business days.
