Start Smart Baseball is an instructor-led, introductory sports program for children, 3 – 5 years old. The 6-week program focuses on the fundamentals of baseball/softball using fun drills and games. Parent participation is required during each class, so please wear comfortable attire & shoes. Fall 2023 registration will be open September 1 - 30, with classes running October 11 - November 29. All classes held at the Jennie Riley Community Center, 322 N 4th Street, each Wednesday from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. Maximum 10 participants. Only $15 per child and classes fill up quickly! Register online at laportetx.gov/register or in person at the La Porte Recreation & Fitness Center.
