On Monday, September 19, we had the groundbreaking of a new Gold Star Families Memorial Monument honoring the families of servicemen and women who sacrificed their lives while serving in the military. It will be constructed and become a cornerstone at Five Points Park in the City of La Porte, TX. The Private First Class Matthew K. Guyon Foundation partnered with the Woody Williams Foundation, City of La Porte, Gulf Coast Limestone, Inc., and Argos USA to make this moment possible.

Private First Class Matthew K. Guyon Foundation is a nonprofit organization that gives back to La Porte, Deer Park, & surrounding areas to make a positive impact & help others. This will be accomplished through awards scholarships to college or trade school-bound high school seniors based on demonstrated community involvement, financial need, and expressed interest in helping others.
